ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Entrance Examination (Written and Oral) in Math and Chemistry/Biology. Students must score 260+/300 to get admitted to the first year of the program. Scores Between 150-260/300 will result in the student getting into a Year of Foundation. 

2. Grade 12/AS/A-Level Completion certificate with Minimum 60% or C grades in Math and Chemistry

DESCRIPTION

Food Science and Technology is one of the few bachelor level programs in the field of food technology in Lithuania, and the only one which has been awarded the international EQAS-Food Label quality mark. KTU is the only university in the Baltic States offering studies accredited with this quality mark on an international level.

Students of this program gain practical skills while working together with experienced food technologists, and being involved in real-life problem solving. Students have access to modern food technology labs, which are provided with pilot-scale technological lines used to model and perform various technological processes

The graduates of this program are valued by the employers for their unique mix of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in food technologies, food engineering, food chemistry, and microbiology.
